How you can help
The Cellar is one of the two branches of the Warehouse Christian Trust, a Godalming based charity (Registration Number 277631). We rely largely on volunteers to operate and to fund the work we do. Amongst those who have helped us are The Garfield Weston Foundation, The Henry Smith Charity, The Thomas Trust, John Beanes Charity, Godalming Town Council, Surrey County Council, Erica Leonard Trust, Waverley Voluntary Grants Panel and many more…
Can you spare a few hours a week on a regular basis to help in the café? Volunteer helpers are needed to free trained staff for ‘listening’ and other support duties.
Can you help by organising or helping at fund raising events?
Become a ‘Friend of the Cellar’ and join our Planned Giving Scheme – contributions can be of any size, whatever you feel you would like to give, in the full knowledge that you would be helping a worthwhile local community project. You will receive regular newsletters with up-to-date reports on our work and forthcoming events.
